Outreach activities include:

• Literacy through Dance
  This six week program, presented in collaboration with Community Unit School District 201, Westmont, and sponsored, in part, by Target, exposes children, in a familiar setting and during their regular school day, to ballet and classical music through the presentation of fairly tales.

  Single sessions based upon Literacy through Dance have been presented at Hinsdale Public Library, Maercker School in Westmont, and Clissold Elementary in Chicago.
  
  Literacy though Dance can be tailored to fit the needs of your school, library or other youth group.
  
  
• Lecture Demonstrations
  Salt Creek Ballet is proud to offer a “sneak peek” at upcoming performances, complete with a brief ballet class demonstration and a Q&A session with our Artistic Director, Sergey Kozadayev. Company dancers, often dressed in beautifully made costumes, articulate steps before they go to the big stage.
  
  Lecture demonstrations run 1 hour and can be tailored to fit the needs of your retirement community or other community group.
